OUR STRUCTURE
Your Children
We fully understand that having children is a very important event in any person’s life. Returning to work can be an incredibly anxious time for any parent therefore at The Sanctuary we endeavor to make this time run as smoothly as possible for you, your child and your family. Your children are your most treasured possession and we aim to care for them in the very best way. Parent and community involvement is paramount in all children’s early years journey. An important part of the care we provide for your child, is building a working partnership with yourselves as parents so we can provide consistency, and a holistic approach to your child to give them the best start in their life.
Your participation as parents is valued highly. Relationships and connections are of paramount importance to the children that attend our setting. All children have the right to a safe and stimulating environment, and we do this through providing an environment which enables children to explore and be curious whilst in the company of other children and highly qualified, passionate and motivated staff.

The role of the Key Person
The key person is a named practitioner who has responsibilities for a small group of children, they are there to help your child feel safe and secure. The role is important for both child and parent and it is an approach set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage. The key person will respond to your child’s needs and help them settle into a new environment. Communication is paramount between you as parents/guardians and the key person as these discussions hold key information about your child.

Your child’s Key person will be a point of contact for you as parents. You will be informed who your child’s key person is in the first 2 weeks they embark on their journey with us.
